Parshwanath college of Engineering

The PCT's COE was established in June '94 with a definite objective of developing the centre of excellence in technical education in Thane districts.

The college was shifted to this new location at Kasar-Vadavali on 15th August '95 & is offering courses in Electronics & Telecomm., Computer, Instrumentation Engg. under on blgd. (Ground + 3). Its 10 kms. from Thane & 13 kms. from Borivli Station situated on Ghod-Bunder Road. TMT bus Nos. 53, 54 from Thane Gamdevi Maidan every 10 minutes area available. However from Borivli Station ST buses going to Thane & Bhiwandi stop at Vadavali Naka just opposite to the college, similarly Thani-Borivli ST buses are also available. College bus is available on contributory basis from Borivli Station to College & back.

College provides excellent facilities for computation. College have various types computers namely 80386, 486, Pentium 5, Pentium 60 having Multimedia, Windows 95 & All 80 odd computers connected in LAN. All most modern softwares are also available to students. Only two students per terminal perform the practicals.

A huge workshop, Two drawing halls, 12 classrooms & 10 Labs with all modern amenities are provided. Glass Boards & overhead projectors are provided in each & every class room & are furnished with modern furniture. Library consists of 4000 & odd books for 400 students as of today. Furthermore are being added. Library is connected to internet. Minimum two books are given to students. 25 highly educated staff-faculty with a minimum of 10 Years of experience have taken up the challenge for providing best education to students.

Results of the university exams are quite comparable with the lod colleges like VJTI or SPCE & sometimes better also.
